Jeff Eiser has 29 years of practical work experience in the operation and administration of one of the largest local corrections systems in the United States. He has extensive experience and expertise in the operation and staffing of small, medium and large jail facilities. Mr. Eiser holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Education.

Mr. Eiser offers a unique combination of real life experience, a researcher and adjunct professor of criminal justice at the undergraduate university level. Jeff has a distinct advantage over other criminal justice experts because he has personal experience in every facet of a corrections/jail facility.

Mr. Eiser has assisted attorneys since 1994 as a jail operations expert witness and has qualified and testified (federal and state courts) in the areas of corrections facility operations and staffing; jail intake and screening procedures; staff negligence; inmate assault (failure to protect); staff use-of-force; Corrections Emergency Response Teams (CERT); prisoner access to medical and mental health care; in-custody deaths; inmate suicide; sexual assault by staff/other prisoner; conditions of confinement; inmate classification; inmate housing and supervision; strip/body cavity searches; jail records procedures; accommodations for disabled prisoners; jail/prison standards, policies and procedures; and the training of correctional staff, supervisors and administrators.

Recently retired as the Deputy Director of Corrections for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Eiser was responsible for the daily operation of four facilities, approximately 2,300 inmates, over 600 employees and an operating budget of over 40 million dollars

     Retainer of $1000 required at the beginning of case involvement, with all other services (itemized statements submitted to client) billed at $175 per hour (first 6 billable hours paid for by retainer).

     If travel is required, all transportation costs, hotel and per diem for meals are responsibility of client.
