False Arrest/Imprisonment: Computer Assisted

      City not liable for arrest of car owner after computer erroneously reported vehicle as stolen after he had recovered it Sanders v. City of New York, 692 F.Supp. 308 (S.D.N.Y.).
     City liable for false arrest based on improper identification by computer Smith v. Oklahoma City, 696 F.2d 784 (10th Cir. 1983).
     County not liable for clerical errors made by court clerks Hernandez v. Maricopa County, 673 P.2d 341 (Ariz App. 1983).
     Man arrested when computer mistakenly showed license plate to be stolen was not falsely imprisoned Kabir v. City of Lafayette, 509, So.2d 464 (La App. 1987).
