Witness Fees

     Federal appeals court upholds statute barring payment of witness fees to prisoner witnesses in federal cases. Moran v. United States, 18 F.3d 412 (7th Cir. 1994).
     Convicted prisoners summoned to testify in a federal trial are entitled to witness fees. Demarest v. Manspeaker, 111 S.Ct. 599 (1991).
