The hotel is a city to itself, with restaurants ranging from $ to $$$, including an inexpensive buffet and take-away food from Sbarro’s, Fuddruckers and Subway. The hotel has a discount liquor store as well.

ROOM RESERVATIONS:
You can make your reservations by telephone or online. Parking is complimentary for all hotel guests. When making your reservation, ask for the special rate for the AELE workshop. The group rate appears on each workshop brochure, which can be viewed online.
A limited number of rooms have been reserved our group rate for the meeting dates, in most cases up to 3 days before and after the seminar. When calling the hotel, the group code “AELE” must be used to obtain this rate. Because of computer-generated promotional pricing changes, rates could be lower if booked without using the group code, especially on other websites that offer discount hotel rooms. Check at http://www.orleanscasino.com/
However, not all discount websites are reliable. Normally there is no problem, but if there is an ongoing citywide event, reservations from Internet discount sites might not be honored. The Orleans hotel guarantees rooms reserved on their website.
Reservations are the individual attendant’s responsibility and should be made as early as possible. The AELE group rate is guaranteed only when a person calls the hotel’s toll-free number. Although the Orleans hotel has a website, the rates quoted do NOT reflect our group rate, and could be higher or lower. Because of dynamic pricing, the rate could be lower on the Internet, but the hotel is not obligated to accept reservations made on generic (Internet) travel websites.
CANCELLATIONS:
All cancellations must be received as promptly as possible. Please call AELE at (800) 763-2802 (voicemail if closed) or write us at <info@aele.org>. Cancellations made after the Monday one week before the workshop, or “no-shows” are subject to a $100.00 administrative assessment to cover luncheon and other costs which cannot be canceled.
Prepaid “No shows” and persons who cancel on the day the workshop begins are not entitled to a refund – similar to prepaid air fares and hotel rooms. A request for an excused absence due to a death in a registrant’s immediate family or similar circumstance, will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and in any case, the $100 cancellation fee will apply unless the person requests a transfer of tuition to the next time the workshop is offered.
PAYMENT OF TUITION: Please DO NOT bring cash or checks to the workshop if your tuition is unpaid. For security purposes, please mail your checks to AELE at PO Box 75401, Chicago IL 60675-5401 -- which is our bank, not our office box number. They forward all information after depositing any payments.
MATERIALS: All workshop materials will be distributed to each attendant during the conference registration process on the first day..
REGISTRATION: The workshop registration will begin at 8:00 a.m in the hallway outside the meeting room. The meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. Please disregard any signs posted by the hotel that indicate that the meeting starts at any time other than 9:00 a.m. Attendants should pick up their materials and nametags shortly before the session is to begin. Coffee will be available in the registration area beginning at 8:15 a.m.
SECURITY PRECAUTIONS: For your protection, all attendants will be asked to provide a government issued photo identity card (Driver’s license, Bar or other official ID) to receive their materials. Please wear your AELE nametag throughout the seminar.

CREDIT CARDS: Las Vegas hotels want a major credit card or a cash deposit. A debit card is sometimes not acceptable for room guarantee purposes. The hotel reservation office can provide a specific answer to an individual situation.
